A two-time Olympic Gold medalist for her country of the USA Shields was quick to downplay any pound for pound lists:
A double Olympic Gold medal winner. The first US boxer, man or woman, to ever do that. That’s why she’s the biggest name female boxer in America and as time goes on, will become a star.
Done by such a young kid too at the time taking into account the accomplishments.
Remarkable stuff.
Women’s boxing has a lot of good competition now and hopefully better fights can be made regularly in America.
Maybe money from the networks then will be in it.
