Jermell Charlo and Brian Castano proved to be a very entertaining fight last weekend in Texas.
Tremendous action that entertained across the board.
A fight that resulted in a draw, that might have been a fair result to many.
With the exception of one of the judges’ scorecards being very poor, a great fight all in all.
Super-welterweight contender and son of boxing legend Kostya Tszyu, Tim Tszyu, wasn’t very impressed with Charlo however.
Good fighter in the making. Throws the perfect right hand at times, straight over the shoulder just like the father did. Fundamentally in position with the correct distance to do so and text book.
He mentioned afterwards a congrats message to Castano and that he was ready to fight him next.
154 lbs. is really picking up at the moment.
Some great action in store at super-welterweight over the next twelve months in the division, you’d have to think.
