Women’s boxing sensation Ebanie Bridges of Australia has been basking in glory this week following a big win in the UK.
Another move forward for the tough pocket rocket Aussie who again grabbed attention.
An entertaining fight but one Bridges was hampered in before hand as she has shown here:
Practice makes perfect! I tore my lat A couple weeks ago (some of you knew about it) & couldn’t spar or use my left hand for the last few weeks of camp but I wasn’t gonna pull out, I still had my right, which meant ALOT of practicing this shot & my right hand #NoQuit pic.twitter.com/W1y1mxWOat

It will be interesting to see what opponents are lined up for her next.
A rematch had been mentioned with Shannon Courtenay who beat Bridges earlier in the year.
In a very good fight to watch.
Indeed, women’s professional boxing continues to gain momentum. This year in particular.
Perhaps some of the networks will look to increase funding in it by Q4 end of year subsequently.
Maybe then you will see the likes of Claressa Shields back in professional boxing also.
Certainly some very good fights this year.
Right across the board.
