In what was a tough watch for many boxing fans this weekend, one of the all-time greats, Evander Holyfield, was stopped in the very first round.
In what, in the end, was called a professional boxing match but ultimately, had two minutes round duration and reportedly afterwards, did not go on either fighter’s professional boxing record.
Former UFC Champion Vitor Belfort stopped Holyfield in the very first round:
Congrats to Belfort.
And, at least Holyfield didn’t suffer injury.
It is thought he might still fight in an exhibition bout with Mike Tyson in the future.
Although, the latter, has been linked with an exhibition against Lennox Lewis next up.
Time will tell.
