Boxing legend Manny Pacquiao like boxing fans the world over were impressed once again with boxing star Canelo Alvarez.
Widely considered the best fighter in the world Alvarez proved it yet again against Caleb Plant.
Speaking on the win Pacquiao said:
Words that carry much weight considering Pacquiao is one of the all-time pound for pound best fighters himself.
An eight-division champion paying respect to a four-division champion.
What next for Canelo.
Perhaps a move again to 175 lbs. is the only thing that can challenge him or prove of interest at this point.
As likely he could get bored at 168 lbs. or find it hard to get motivated there without any challenge left almost.
Russian Beterbiev might be a good challenge up at light-heavyweight.
You can’t forget about David Benavidez at super-middleweight either. He never lost his belt in the ring after missing weight last year.
Big respect to both Plant and Alvarez this weekend for a fine showing for boxing in the fight capital of the world.
