Sometimes boxing can be portrayed in negative light by those who don’t employ critical, impartial thinking.
Or those who just don’t like boxing.
That’s all okay.
Some people don’t like cricket. Some people don’t like rainy weather etc.
That’s okay too.

But when boxing and boxers do good through kind gestures, empathy and helping all people maybe it should be noted.
Champion fighter and devout Muslim Amir Khan of the UK and Pakistan one of those instances.
Khan is now from the UK and where he lives now.
But he did not forget his roots in Pakistan after he achieved some success in life this clearly illustrates:

Too much conflicting information and best to hang back, be patient and wait for something official.
