Floyd Mayweather Gives Suggestion For Canelo Next Opponent

Since Saul Canelo Alvarez’ big win recently against Caleb Plant everyone has been offering their thoughts on who he should fight next.

As a free agent however Alvarez can literally do what he wants. Fight who he wants. He’s in a good position.

Many wanted him to take on David Benavidez next.

Including Floyd Mayweather who speaking at the WBC Convention said the former would be ‘a good test’ for Alvarez.

However since then it has been confirmed Alvarez will step up to cruiserweight.

Benavidez won by stoppage last weekend and continues to make noise at 168 pounds.

Time will tell if he and Alvarez ever fight.

Great fight at any point down the road for sure.

As for Mayweather and Alvarez.
