Terence Crawford stopped an always formidable Shawn Porter inside the distance this weekend in the fight capital of the world.
Not meant to be for Porter who at 34-years-old announced his retirement from professional boxing after.
A great career.
One that really illustrated the benefits of living a healthy life, always training, eating the right thing, surrounding yourself with good people and above all two things.
Hard work and dedication.
Porter and his father Kenny Porter always tried to correct mistakes and make adjustments.
You could see this easily from the quality of his work and it just getting better and better as time went on.
In the progression of Porter both as a professional athlete and as a man.
He can do plenty of things after boxing. Loads of them.
Boxing is lucky to have people like Porter who surely can be one of the great boxing commentators moving forward.
As for Crawford.
Sky is the limit.
What a fighter.
