Joey Borrero recently went 8-0-7 KO here in Mexico with a stoppage win in Campeche.
The 24 year-old Nevada fighter had to come through an early storm.
In a slugfest brawl of a fight.
Pedro Alejandro Delgado Chable a considerable puncher for his size.
He gave Borrero an early professional boxing career test in every way.
Borrero dug deep however and got the win inside the distance.
He moves on to what promises to be a big 2022 now that he holds the American Boxing Federation title.
Hat tip ABF below. We volunteered to judge three of their contests on the night including Borrero’s.
Earlier in 2021 this sparring between below Borrero and Luis Arias — who later then defeated former world champion Jarrett Hurd in Miami last summer — shows what Borrero is all about as he continues to develop as a fighter.
If he shows improvement he can maybe become world champion one day:
Surely a big 2022 awaits and good prospect to watch out for Borrero.
