Former heavyweight title challenger Kubrat Pulev recorded a big win this weekend in maybe an unexpected way.
In what was mostly boxing rules he took on former UFC (the sport of mixed martials arts) champion Frank Mir.
The Bulgarian showed class perhaps in the Thanksgiving Holiday spirit to not follow up anymore here:

Clearly the smaller gloves illustrate just how much power top level professional boxers carry in their hands.

Pulev not long ago challenged former heavyweight world champion Anthony Joshua in full professional boxing rules.
It will be interesting to see if he returns to boxing next and how this new format will go moving forward.
