Gervonta Davis was given a difficult fight this past weekend in what turned out to be a great event and night of boxing in Las Angeles.
He got the unanimous points win over Isaac Cruz of Mexico City but it didn’t come easy.
Reports suggest he broke his hand half way through the fight.
Battling on with it to secure the win at the end.
Former world champion Badou Jack made a good point:
For sure Davis’ has now proven his boxing ability and with the likes of his coaching team and Floyd Mayweather advising, it’s going to be a winning combination for him you’d have to think.
