Boxing is a special sport.
For sure.
Last weekend saw sweet science practitioner and noble art technician Vasyl Lomacehnko go back to work.
The Ukrainian craftsman and boxing engineer was in devastating form.
So much so that he even reached out mercifully to his opponent’s team multiple times during the fight.
Warning them in advance to throw in the towel while they still could:

The Ukrainian genius won comfortably in the end.
A stark reminder above of what he can do.
Even when not at his strongest or at his best still light years ahead of the competition in some regards.

Surely when he gets back to his best soon he will be in the mix for big fights.
Big respect to both boxers above last weekend on a tremendous showing in New York for boxing.
Hopefully New York can be brought back to life and more boxing there in 2022.

Maybe the ill-advised terrible New York Athletic State Commission can start doing a better job again in 2022 for the most influential sport in America.
