Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis is part of a group of the new era of boxing full of young exciting fighters in the world emerging at this particular time.
There are so many new prospects and young world champions breaking through in boxing at the moment you’d lose track sometimes.
Ennis is clearly a big hitter too and should prove to have a great career over time.
Recently he took issue with some of former champ Shawn Porter’s comments recently.
Speaking on social media Ennis said:
‘I heard you said I was overrated. You was just saying I was ready and too much for these guys. And you said you won’t fight me but keep that same energy tho. If I’m so overrated ‘come out of retirement’ and fight me. Now people retire and I’m overrated!!’
