In terrible news today that has hit the world and obviously boxing as a sport — with so many great fighters from the Ukraine — warfare has commenced.
Unexpected as really the old world isn’t set up for this kind of thing anymore.
Obviously Ukraine all us boxing fans know have some of the great boxers of the last twenty years in the sport internationally.
Not least current heavyweight champion Alexander Usyk and pound for pound technician Vasily Lomachenko.
Two of Ukraine’s most famed fighting sons the Klitschko brothers have said of the war in the country from Russia:
No good Putin.
Don’t do that again.
Must stop the madness.
