It has now been confirmed that another renowned boxing story will make the big screens in the near future.
International actor and former James Bond Star Pierce Brosnan will play the life of one Brendan Ingle of the UK.
Originally from Dublin, Ingle made the move to Sheffield in the late fifties.
He would later go on to found a legendary boxing gym in Sheffield that would produce many champions such as Naseem Hamed, Johnny Nelson, Herol Graham, Ryan Rhodes, Junior Witter, Kell Brook and more.

It is understood Brosnan will meet with the Ingle family in the weeks ahead to discuss the role.
Brendan Ingle passed away on May 25th, 2018.
Outside of helping his community behind the scenes with his time and charity, that not many knew about, he also is regarded as one of the great boxing trainers for many reasons.
Not just the quality of the champions produced.
But his unique methods and larger than life personality and charisma.
