Well known boxing trainer Dominic Ingle, son of legendary coach Brendan Ingle, opens up on how much boxing trainers really get paid.

Professional boxing trainers are the most important person on a fighter’s team but Ingle speaks on the home truths they endure at times.

For top tier fighters like Canelo making thirty million dollars minimum per fight, it gives a good guarantee if a trainer is on 10 per cent.

That is not the case for most boxers however.

And thus, most trainers.

At the highest-level it makes more sense but only at elite level world title fights for the trainers.

The most important man in a boxer’s corner – their trainer.
