The NYSAC could be in dire legal trouble if alleged rules applied from their own organization in their own State is shown to have been broken by the organization.
Boxing star Ryan Garcia took to X (formerly Twitter) to point out that under NYSAC rules under the law within the State of New York, allegedly the organization must conduct its own urine samples for athletes being tested.
And not by outside third parties such as VADA.
Garcia said on X:
“We got em boys It’s over Everyone is getting sued”.
If the above is accurate from Garcia, that’s curtains for the Commission in New York if he wants to take them to the cleaners.
If his allegations and claims are found to be true.
At the least it will be very bad for boxing and combat sports in general in the State of New York moving forward.
Moreover, Garcia added:
“People just can’t imagine someone actually rigging a test Like Litterally people have done worst things They tell me but in the end something was in your system Bruh it magically appeared a day before and after the fight Don’t be so naive.”
For a boxer to take on a Commission like this will be interesting to say the least.
It should also be noted that the head of the Commission in New York recently suddenly resigned after the fight.
If he tries the case at a federal level to overview and run oversight over New York, as opposed to State to State level, it could set a big legal precedence if his allegations are found true.
Again, allegedly for now Garcia makes the above claims.
It will be interesting.
