The Tyson Fury vs Usyk weigh-in came in a short time ago and took everyone by surprise with what Usyk came in.
First off, both clearly trained for the fight and are in good shape.
Usyk’s perceived advantage is speed and lightness to use speed over Fury, so this surprised people:
233.5 lbs. for Usyk – 16 stone 9 lbs.
262 lbs. – Fury – 18 stone 10 lbs.
Usyk was the heaviest weight of his career.
Interesting.
Fury weighed in light compared to many times.
Then again, all in all, the added weight from Usyk could be him settling into the heavyweight division too.
Remember, muscle weighs more than fat.
