A short time ago it has taken a bad turn for Garcia with Dan Rafael reporting the following:

Haney’s promoter Eddie Hearn had mentioned a couple of weeks ago that they were looking at getting the fight overturned to a no contest.
A commission hearing in New York is also due soon for Garcia.
No official date yet has come from the New York Commission for this.
