Good news for fight fans as the Usyk vs Tyson Fury rematch was made official a short time ago with date and venue confirmed.
Usyk became undisputed heavyweight champion by split decision recently in their first fight in Saudi Arabia.
Now, his excellency Turki Alalshiikh confirmed on X today:
“The rematch between the Undisputed Champion Oleksandr Usyk and the Champion Tyson Fury is now scheduled on the 21 of December 2024 during Riyadh Season…The world will watch another historical fight again…Our commitment to boxing fans continues…We hope you enjoy it..”
Happy days for boxing fans.
Fury will surely be smarting from the loss as we speak.
Early reports from the Fury camp indicate he is philosophical about the fight and wants the rematch back bad.
Fury is no fool and expect him to adjust game plan in the rematch.
