VADA the Voluntary Anti-Doping Agency have issued a statement since news of supplement contamination for Ryan Garcia.
Ryan Garcia was partially vindicated today here.
In that he did not knowingly ingest the PED that he popped for in the Devin Haney post-fight drugs test.
It came from two supplements in supplement contamination but VADA have issued the following a short time ago on X:
“Reminder to fighters regarding supplements. You are responsible for anything you take. Whether or not supplements are listed on doping control forms, anti-doping organizations do not approve supplements. It’s why VADA fighters are provided the warning statement & other resources.”
While not mentioning Garcia explicitly above, clearly the timing of the statement following Garcia’s news today is not coincidental.
