Boxing star Ryan Garcia makes a bold claim against Golden Boy Promotions and DAZN following win over Devin Haney.
Garcia failed a post-fight drugs test in the fight which is still being investigated.
So it is not clear if part of his purse is being withheld because of that at this time.
Garcia speaking on X made some bold claims:
“Nah I need my money now.”
Adding:
“Still no payment GBP AND DAZN???”
And:
“No way those numbers are real But let’s worry about that later Where is my money.”
And then:
“Even if you don’t like me The fact I haven’t received payment For my fight is messed up”
It is still unclear as to when the date for Ryan Garcia’s hearing with the Commission for his fight with Haney will take place.
It is understood both the Commission and investigations from the WBC are likely still ongoing.
