Boxing star Ryan Garcia climbed up to the canvas to speak with “Tank” after his knockout of Frank Martin in Las Vegas.

Between knockouts and backflips this weekend on Amazon Prime’s first successful night with the sport of boxing, a ring invasion happened.

Ryan Garcia clearly wants a rematch with Davis with his t-shirt stating as such in this moment after the fight:

Garcia has to clear up his issues with the Devin Haney fight first before he is back in the ring. He is still awaiting a hearing with the Athletic Commission who regulated that fight who’s Commissioner abruptly, and very badly timing wise, resigned after the fight.

Garcia is still a big star name but may need some help at the moment. Certainly he should give up the booze. He doesn’t need it.

As for Davis, the sky is the limit with his ability. Lomachenko, Shakur Stevenson, Devin Haney, Garcia and more.

Shakur Stevenson returns to action shortly too. What a fight that could be at some point between Davis and him, really, what a bloody fight that would be.

The Past Battle

Garcia and Davis previously faced off in April 2023, with Davis securing a seventh-round TKO victory.

The fight was a highly anticipated showdown between two rising stars, and despite the outcome, it left fans wanting more.

Garcia’s Road Ahead

While Garcia’s desire for a rematch is understandable, several challenges stand in his way.

Garcia first must clear various matters up, as mentioned from the Haney fight.

Additionally, Davis is likely to face other top contenders before considering a rematch, potentially delaying Garcia’s desired timeline.

The Star Power Factor

Despite the obstacles, the prospect of a Garcia vs. Davis rematch remains enticing.

Both fighters are charismatic and popular, boasting large fan bases and significant drawing power.

A rematch would undoubtedly generate massive interest and revenue, making it a lucrative proposition for both fighters and the sport as a whole.

The Timing Conundrum

The timing of a potential rematch is crucial. Both fighters need to stay active and continue winning to maintain their relevance and appeal.

Additionally, the landscape of the lightweight division could shift significantly in the coming months, with other contenders vying for title shots and potentially altering the dynamics of a rematch.

The Future Fight

While a Garcia vs. Davis rematch is not imminent, it remains a distinct possibility.

The two fighters’ shared history, combined with their star power and fan appeal, make it a fight that simply makes sense.

If both fighters can navigate their respective paths and continue their winning ways, a rematch could become a reality sooner rather than later.

The Ultimate Goal

For Garcia, a rematch against Davis represents a chance at redemption and a shot at proving he belongs among the elite in the lightweight division.

For Davis, it’s an opportunity to solidify his dominance and further establish himself as a superstar.

The road to a rematch may be long and winding, but the potential reward is immense.

Both fighters have the talent and ambition to reach the pinnacle of the sport, and a second showdown could be the defining moment in their respective careers.

The boxing world will be watching closely, eagerly anticipating the next chapter in this intriguing rivalry.

The ball is in Davis’ court however on granting the fight or not down the road.
