Out of control Ryan Garcia suspended from boxing for a year and made give back over a million dollars to Devin Haney.
Finally some action came from the cesspit, depraved and scourge of America, that is, New York.
On the Ryan Garcia case.
Garcia is banned from boxing for a year following his doping failed test against Devin Haney. The fight changed to a no contest.
What’s more, Garcia had to give back over one million dollars for missing weight, back to Haney.
Garcia seems to be going through a lot at the moment but whatever idiot adviser or team he has around him. if they have any sense, they will tell him to look after himself.
The frustrating thing about Garcia is he has the ability and at times he does speak some truth.
The problem is it is mixed in with so much garbage people don’t know if he’s drunk or having a bad day sometimes.
Garcia maybe should take a week or two to get some clean air and rest, and evaluate things and go back to the drawing board.
The fact is he’s young and has a great career ahead of him.
The Haney rematch likely will happen in 2025 too.
A year suspension seems a bit excessive in fairness from the Commission who regulated the fight.
What he failed for was in trace amounts and he never popped for PEDs in his career before.
Always a clean athlete and randomly tested at times too.
That’s not Garcia’s problem.
It’s his mentality at the moment.
God will fight his battles but he has to be smart and show a bit more sense.
Once again, when he’s back after the suspension there is a lot of fights out there for him.
The Haney rematch will be top of the pile and one that will sell very well too.
