Incompetent UKAD Remove Banned Statement On Boxer Who They Banned For Cocaine Who Has Died In Mysterious Circumstances

A big blunder appears to have taken place by the UKAD authorities today. A boxer is also dead. These things happen.

Following a stoppage win in 2023 by Mexican Moises Calleros in the UK over well known fighter Galal Yafai, Calleros tested positive for metabolites of cocaine after the fight.

They banned him for four years (Ryan Garcia only got one year ban last week for perspective) but they apparently were unaware that Calleros has died.

Mexican newspapers have reported on his funeral here:

The UKAD idiots have subsequently done the right thing and removed the dead man from their website completely.

It is not known how he actually died but nonetheless, that’s it for him.

He was living in Monterrey at the time of his death.

He was a flyweight professional fighter.

Monterrey, known as the best place in Mexico for steaks, so they say.

Rest in peace to the dead man.

He is now at his final destination.

Boxing unfortunately has these things happen to its brave competitors every now and then.

Here was his fight in the UK last year.
