Former UFC champion turned professional boxer Nate Diaz returns to the boxing ring again next month in a big fight.
He takes on former UFC star Jorge Masvidal in a professional boxing match in California on July 6th.
They met recently at a presser and their teams ended up brawling. Speaking in a media scrum broke his silence on it and his take on pressers:
“Yeah it was crazy. I don’t like it. I’m cool with press conferences. It was fun too. I had a good time travelling but I think the repeated face offs are ridiculous. We are just sitting there looking at each other. Like I said before I’m a real fighter. I don’t want to just sit there. And size each other up in each other’s faces and fake like we are going to fight right there.”
Clearly not a fan of press conferences. Fair enough.
An interesting fight next month.
Another big boxing match involving former UFC or MMA stars and champions.
A trend that shows to be increasing at the moment.
As well as the some former boxing and MMA stars also going to or involved with professional bare knuckle boxing.
