Teofimo Lopez landed a lot of punches on a very tough Steve Claggett at the weekend and shipped some back himself no less.
Lopez was quite bust up after the fight himself.
Speaking to reporters after the fight Lopez said he is game to fight either “Pitbull” Cruz or “Bud” Crawford:
“Yeah. Yes I do (want to fight Crawford). Absolutely though. These are the type of fights that I want. Nobody is going to fight (as tough) as Steve Claggett. There’s only one other fighter who maybe might do it a small bit and he’s smaller and that’s pit-bull, Cruz. Other than that every other fighter you can think of don’t fight that way. They all box. Crawford boxes.”
Both are great fights for Lopez next up.
But you have to ask yourself is a win over Steve Claggett in the same class as taking on a Terence Crawford?
Of course not.
The level of competition is miles different.
Incomparable, with respect to Claggett.
