Jake Paul Wants World Title Fight In 2025 After Mike Tyson

Jake Paul Wants World Title Fight In 2025 After Mike Tyson

Jake Paul appears to already be looking past underdog Mike Tyson in November which surely will take even more pressure off of Tyson.

Paul is an interesting character. A combination of a fighter and a promoter. Technical and salesmanship ability has seen his MVP Promotions, like Saudi and many other companies and people, shake up the world of professional sport.

In a recent interview with ESPN, Jake Paul, the controversial guy that he is, declared his ambition to become a world champion in 2025.

The bold claim comes after a postponement of his highly anticipated exhibition bout with boxing legend Mike Tyson due to Tyson’s medical issues.

Despite the setback, Paul remains undeterred, emphasizing his unwavering self-belief and dedication to his boxing career:

“I believe in 2025 I will most likely be a world champion,” Paul stated confidently during the interview.

“I think I’m ready for it in the next couple of months and I’m going to go for it in 2025.”

Big claims.

Paul’s journey in professional boxing has been met with mixed reactions, with some praising his dedication and athleticism while others criticize his choice of opponents and perceived lack of experience.

However, Paul’s 9-1 record with six knockout wins speaks for itself, and his recent performances have shown significant improvement in his boxing skills, to his credit.

Initially scheduled for July 20th, Paul’s fight against Tyson has been postponed to November 15th, giving Paul an opportunity to face Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship star Mike Perry on July 20th.

This fight will serve as a warm-up for Paul before his clash with Tyson, allowing him to maintain his momentum and further hone his skills, at cruiserweight too.

People and possibly Paul himself are underestimating the step up to heavyweight in a pro boxing match in November.

That weight does matter and that division is different to anything in boxing. They hit different. They just do.

Paul smartly is getting ready at cruiserweight this month against Perry in Florida.

While Paul’s ultimate goal is to become a world champion, he also recognizes the significance of his upcoming fight with Tyson:

“It’s not slowing down the train for anybody,” Paul said. “The path doesn’t matter; it’s about the destination, and I believe in myself to get there.”

Despite facing criticism for his unconventional path in boxing, Paul remains focused on his legacy and impact on the sport.

He aims to inspire a new generation of fighters and fans alike, proving that with hard work and dedication, anything is possible.

Paul’s bold ambition to become a world champion in 2025 is a testament to his unwavering self-belief and commitment to his boxing career.

Whether he achieves this goal remains to be seen, but one thing is certain: Jake Paul is a force to be reckoned with in the boxing world, and his journey will continue to captivate audiences worldwide.

You have to at least give Paul his due on his bravery on all of this. He certainly will go for it. Time will tell how he does.
