In an unexpected turn of events this weekend in the sport two big weight misses in two different high profile professional fights tonight.
Danny “Miracle Man” Jacobs and Ryan Garcia’s brother Sean Garcia.
You certainly would not expect Jacobs but nonetheless both fights go ahead.
Here’s what both weighed in ahead of tonight:
- Jacobs weighed in 169.2lbs ahead of his fight with Shane Mosely Jr tonight (super-middleweight limit he was meant to come in under 168 lbs.)
- Sean Garcia was heavy an incredible 3.1 lbs. at 138.1 lbs — over the 135 lbs. limit.
Ryan Garcia’s brother Sean Garcia might not be that known to some.
He is currently 7-0-1 draw (2 KO).
A 23-year-old southpaw meant to be fighting in the lightweight division.
He takes on Fernando Vargas’ son this weekend, Amado Vargas, also a 23-year-old prospect in the sport.
