Stephen A Smith the well-known sports commentator reckons he knows the root of Garcia’s off the rails sad decline in recent times.
Boxer Garcia has been in the news pretty much everywhere this week after a dark week for him and boxing.
ESPN’s Smith took to his YouTube Channel and among some of his main analysis was:
“He definitely seems to have a screw loose.”
He added:
“He does not seem in his right mind. He seems out there and he has completely tarnished his career.”
Moreover, he said:
“He’s warped because he lost to Gervonta Davis. He was embarrassed about it but I don’t think there’s anything to be embarrassed about.”
Smith said he deserved the ban and the various people having the right to be angry with him at the moment.
The crux of Smith’s analysis is an interesting one, however.
Basically, he thinks this all goes back to the “Tank” knockout loss.
Afterwards, mentioning he needs help, which he does.
If that is it, Garcia should know he can easily come back to boxing at a later date after sobering up and have another fight with Davis.
Boxers lose and even the greats have been knocked down like Muhammad Ali.
That’s part of the fight game.
He should focus on the positives and look for the good in things, situations and everything else.
