It wasn’t Sean Garcia’s night in the ring and in many ways once again it was not Ryan Garcia’s night again in all ways.
Ryan Garcia walked his brother out to the ring tonight against Amado Vargas. Two prospects who collided in the ring.
Ultimately Fernando Vargas son got the stoppage win.
Speaking on X tonight Garcia reacted to the loss with:
“Damn”
“Sean just kept getting hit with the uppercut and never countered fair play Amado congrats Although I knock out you and all your brothers pretty easy But congrats you guys won”
“Skipped rehab for this ****”
Congrats to team Vargas on the win and unlucky to Sean Garcia.
He showed great heart even when hurt by the body shots before the stoppage to fire back in some great exchanges in a fun fight for boxing fans.
As for Ryan Garcia, he says rehab is the next stop.
Hopefully next year we will see him back clean and sober and back in the boxing ring.
