Boxer, entertainer and all rounder Jake Paul has signed one of his first prospects to MVP Promotions and thinks highly of him.
Obviously.
However, this fighter has proved a potent force in the ring so far too.
Here he is in action and what Paul says of him on X:
“H20” IS 11-0 and goes by the real name of Ashton Sylve.
On July 20th he boxes on the same card as Paul in Florida.
Amanda Serrano is also signed with Paul’s MVP Promotions but this marks the first time Paul has signed and really gone after the prospect market.
Paul has signed other fighters but they have not made that much of a splash yet or for whatever reason did not work out.
Sylve seems to be the main prospect he’s putting his belief in at the moment at MVP Promotions.
It will be interesting to see how he gets on on July 20th and moving forward.
Sylve, nicknamed “H20,” possesses the kind of speed, power, and ring IQ that has boxing aficionados salivating.
His highlight reel is a dazzling display of devastating combinations and lightning-fast reflexes. Yet, the cynics among us can’t help but wonder if this is just another case of Paul prioritising hype over substance.
After all, the Problem Child’s track record with signings isn’t exactly stellar. Previous MVP prospects have struggled to live up to the lofty expectations set by their brash promoter.
Some have fizzled out entirely, while others have simply failed to capture the imagination of the boxing world.
Sylve, however, seems different. He’s not just another influencer-turned-boxer looking to cash in on their social media following.
He’s a bonafide fighter, with a pedigree. He’s been praised as a great talent and maybe a future world champion.
But the question remains: can he live up to the hype?
Can he thrive under the intense spotlight that comes with being a Jake Paul protege?
And more importantly, can he avoid the pitfalls that have plagued other MVP signings?
Only time will tell.
If Sylve succeeds, it could be a game-changer for Paul and his promotional company. But if he fails, it could be yet another stain on the Problem Child’s already controversial reputation.
Alas, this signing is a gamble, both for Paul and for Sylve. It’s a high-risk, high-reward scenario, with the potential to either catapult both men to new heights of success or leave them with egg on their faces.
The stakes are high, the pressure is immense, and the expectations are through the roof.
It’s a classic boxing narrative, with a modern twist. And it’s one that has fans, pundits, and even the most casual observers on the edge of their seats.
Will Ashton Sylve sink or swim in the shark-infested waters of professional boxing? Only time will tell. But one thing’s for certain, this is a story that’s far from over.
