In one of the biggest acts of charity ever seen by any boxer in boxing history “Canelo” has set a new record.
Boxing legend Manny Pacquiao did a lot for people in his native Philippines over the years but this goes above and beyond anything, and then some.
According to EsNews, Alvarez has:
“Canelo just donated seventy-million-dollars from his own money to open up a rehabilitation centre for disabled kids.”
Outstanding. Class act Alvarez. He could have donated five bucks but seventy million.
That shows you he has a big heart for sure.

What Alvarez does in his native Mexico also on another level compared to any other athlete in professional sports.
He regularly gives kids large amounts of presents during the Christmas season and more.
As for his boxing career, Alvarez is still thought to be one of the best boxers in the sport pound for pound.
Only losing to Dmitry Bivol in recent years due to stepping up to a crazy weight class.
