Mike Perry takes on Jake Paul next week July 20th in Florida and has been going over Paul tapes.
Analysing fight footage of Paul’s pro career so far.
One of his fights he told DAZN where Paul knocked out Andre August with a big uppercut actually impressed him, surprisingly:
“That was a really good uppercut. I don’t know much about August. Apparently that guy was supposed to be the first boxer he fought and he cleaned his clock in the first round. I don’t know what that guy was doing to get hit with that uppercut like that and he fell like that. Good shot Jake.”
Paul did lose however to Tommy Fury who for many people’s opinion was the first real professional boxer he faced.
Next week Paul is in a scrap with Perry, no question about that.

Perry is not washed up and is teak tough and will bring the heat for as long as the fight goes.
The bout is at cruiserweight and after that Paul takes on Mike Tyson November 15th.
It is understood training is going very well for Tyson at the moment but he has not started sparring yet.
Likely that will come in the coming months.
