Everyone has been impressed with Jaron “Boots” Ennis this weekend so much so he could have big news soon.
Boxing’s main power player internationally Turki Alalshikh was very impressed with what he saw.
Turki Alalshikh has lead the Saudi Arabian charge worldwide in boxing and is putting on the best fights featuring the best fighters. A simple but the ultimate combination in boxing.
Speaking on X after tonight’s fight he says he wants to make Crawford vs Ennis at:
“I just reached out to boxer Jaron Ennis and Eddie Hearn to congratulate him on his win and I’d love to see Ennis in fight with Crawford at weight 154 soon”
What a great fight that would be. 154lbs. to clarify is the super-welterweight division. Sometimes also called the light-middleweight weight class.
Crawford returns at the start of next month himself but after that, if he wins, Ennis now looks like a possibility after such a win tonight from “Boots”.
Crawford has also been linked with a catchweight fight against Saul “Canelo” Alvarez.
These are the fights boxing fans want and not least Crawford himself as well. Both Terence Crawford and Alvarez rated by most as two of the best fighters in the world pound for pound (regardless of weight).

If Crawford were to get both the Alvarez and Ennis fights in the next year or two and win these type of fights, that’s when you are talking about Crawford as one of the best fighters ever.
The best fighters ever need to face the best competition regularly to elevate themselves to their best ability they can muster up.
