The former world title challenger from the UK is back on track and in good form ahead of comeback.
Hughie Fury some years ago when he was very green and young as a heavyweight professional lost a close fight on points for the WBO heavyweight title to Joseph Parker.
Many thinking Hughie won the fight. Now years later with what Parker has achieved in the sport, the fight likes even better for Fury, who’s back in heavy training here:
Getting quality sparring and training like that around top coaches like Billy Nelson will steer him well.
As well as the advice and mentorship of his father Peter Fury.
Fury is still very young for a heavyweight pro in the big picture and his only other losses were in his very younger days to quality fighters like Kubrat Pulev and Alexander Povetkin, both on points as well.
He’s back in form this year too with a stoppage win already in 2024.
The heavyweight division is really lively now with young heavyweights like Hughie, Daniel Dubois, Jared Anderson all wanting their turn and crack at a title in the years ahead.
Heavyweight boxing has never been so alive as it is now at the top with but with young contenders and prospects too.
