Andre Ward was considered after Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao retired, for a time, to be briefly the best boxer in the world pound for pound.
Now he’s working in the ring with current pound for pound number one Terence Crawford:
Epic. Ward retired as an active pro for some time now.

Crawford is getting ready for a tough fight against a rugged Eastern competitor on August 3rd.
A man who has bulked up a lot and surely will look to make it a physical fight with “Bud”.
If that’s the case, surely Crawford will need to be at his laser sharpest.
Especially with so many quality fights in line if he wins like Canelo Alvarez or maybe Jaron Boots Ennis or others.
