Former heavyweight champion of the world Andy Ruiz Jr. has always had one main problem in boxing and maybe life.

That’s his sometimes excessive eating, diet and massive weight gains and losses in between fights.

Ruiz takes on Jarrell Miller on August 3rd in LA on the big Saudi card in America headed by Terence Crawford.

Miller no slouch in the eating department himself.

But this is about Andy Ruiz more than anyone.

Its him against him.

Remember how he shocked the world not long ago but knocking out Anthony Joshua in Saudi Arabia?

Making him the first Mexican heavyweight champion of all time.

That is something that will stand the test of time.

He still has all that ability and pedigree in him.

Look, he knows he’ll never be a body builder type like Joshua but he can be very healthy, fast, powerful and effective.

Training hard and doing what’s good for him and the diet that’s good for him.

If he can come into the fight with great conditioning and gas tank, that’s the main thing.

That and his boxing ability should be enough to get him through Miller.

But it’s heavyweight boxing and one punch can literally change the entire course of a fight.

Just ask Ruiz about that when he shook the world against Joshua.

It wasn’t that long ago.

Don’t write Ruiz off.

No way.

Ruiz is a quality heavyweight that no one seems to be talking about at the moment.

A real dark horse in the division despite being a former heavyweight champion.
