Usyk is not just the biggest sports and boxing star in Eastern Europe, he’s the biggest star since Fedor in combat sports in Eastern Europe.
He became the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world earlier this year by doing the impossible to some.
Beating the much bigger Tyson Fury and becoming a cruiserweight and heavyweight undisputed champion.
Things that very few ever do. Now he’s back in his home country of Ukraine and did the following:
Class act Usyk.
Usyk perhaps will be an all-time great in the sport of boxing. Most likely he already is now.
What he’s done is unbelievable.
Ali travelled the world too.
Usyk has battered his way through people from all over the world and done so in many countries all over the world.
There’s never been a heavyweight champion in todays time like Usyk who’s devastated so much in so many different countries in boxing.
Ali as a pro boxed in many countries too like Germany, the US mostly, England, Switzerland, Puerto Rico, in Africa against Foreman, Japan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Ireland and the Bahamas.
People forget how much Ali fought on the road too.
But Usyk is unbeaten and a small heavyweight in todays terms so his travels and success on the road deserves merit too.
He’s absolutely battered his way and bludgeoned, steam rolled through Ukraine, Poland, Saudi Arabia, England (absolutely battered his way through all British cruiserweights and heavyweights in stadiums even), battered his way through Russia busting up Murat Gassiev in Moscow, Latvia, Germany, America and remained 22-0-14 KO so far.
He’s made a living out of battering the world’s best fighters in their hometowns and in their home countries. Just completely battered his way through the world.
A special fighter and athlete Usyk. Much bigger than boxing and Europe too.
A world fighter and world star.
