Some fighters and those in boxing have whispered Pacquiao does not deserve a world title shot at the end of the year, while most have said he does deserve one — given his legend status in the sport.
He is certainly not showing signs of aging in the ring just yet:

Many will be looking to see how sharp he looks in the ring if he wins to set up a possible title shot against Mario Barios before the end of 2024.
