The Monster Inoue Heralds New Golden Age For Japanese Boxing

As we’ve been saying on here for a while now, now the main man in boxing in Japan himself is saying the same thing.

This is the dawn of a new era for professional sport in the nation of Japan.

So many quality new promotions and established ones like RIZIN showing great lighter weight action in title fights. Inoue said on the X app (English translation via X):

“Japanese boxing is entering a golden age. What an amazing time!”

Indeed.

The action lately from Japan in the light, smaller weights in world championship boxing has maybe never been seen before.

Stellar, tremendous match making with back and forth action championship fights, prospect fights and veterans in fights with prospects or new champions in some cases.

A quality and level of fighting that will only continue to grow the sport in the East.

Next week Filipino boxing legend Manny Pacquiao boxes in RIZIN in Japan.

If Top Rank or Inoue himself can get Inoue there at the event’s press conference or fight, a big thing for Japan, sport in the East and for Inoue too.
