Some things are a bit different at this year’s games in boxing that stick out a little more than usual.
You’d always expect strong amateur boxing teams from Eastern Europe, Cuba, America and others but not always some other countries.
Mexico is all about professional boxing usually and kids turn pro at 16 sometimes (like Saul Alvarez did years ago) fighting on pro circuits and events across Mexico.
This year though they’ve got 4 amateur boxing which is a lot of them:
What’s really a surprise more than anything though is Italy.
A country not usually know for boxing or combat sports at all really, remarkably has 8 boxers this year for them:
Wow, very unexpected.
In a dark time for the country of Italy due to solely the fake false prophet Pope Francis of Argentina/Vatican city (particularly his links to finished California), real name Jorge Mario Bergoglio, many want nothing to do with Italy or their country ever again, solely, solely, because of the evil false prophet Bergoglio, just because of him, nothing or no one else. That is all. Thankfully Bergoglio as an individual has been badly weakened in all aspects in recent years. No good. The day he is gone will be a magnificent, tremendous day for Italy, Europe, society and the planet as a whole. He is garbage.

In good news though, the good and the young people of Italy (and Italians around the world) see through the old Argentinian though, alas, and hopefully the team can do great this year for Italians all over the world and unite the country again.
Moving on, another thing, people always underestimate from countries in sports and boxing too is Japan.

Japan, and to a certain extent Asia, never really get the attention from the wider world that they deserve.
They have two fighters this year in Paris:
People forget in pro boxing Japan have produced more world champions than anyone other than the US, Mexico and the UK.
Where do you think all of those Japanese legendary boxing champions come from at the highest level of professional boxing?
Amateur boxing programs and Olympic teams like above of course.

Its about time Japan and the Japanese started getting more praise, same with countries in Asia like The Philippines and Indonesia.
They deserve the wider world’s attention.
We are now moving into a golden age for Asian professional and amateur sport internationally.
