August 3rd’s Terence Crawford card in LA is one of the best overall cards seen in boxing in some time.
A host of action in evenly matched high level fights throughout the card brought to boxing fans by Saudi Arabia next week.

Saudi’s expansion in boxing into the US, the UK and further afield continues with a real international focus and drive now on in boxing to grow the sport to new levels.
Boxing has never been as popular, as big and with as many big professional events as it has now.
All with the emphasis of more of the best fighting the best.
Cards that have one sided fights where the outcome of the fight is already largely known don’t really work.
There was one or two like that recently even by Matchroom but in general they are starting to thankfully fade away now.
With proper boxing cards with genuine 50/50 fights where the winner is not always known in genuinely competitive matchups.
Either involving prospects fighting one another before their primes, fighters in their primes fighting one another, fighters slightly removed from their primes fighting prospects or in prime fighters and so on — or a combination of all three mentioned.
