It was not to be for Team USA in their 4th fight of the tournament thus far at this year’s Olympics.
An up and down start to the 2024 Paris Games this year for Team USA in boxing.
They won their first two matches easy but have lost their third, and now fourth via a 5-0 loss per their X account saying:
“Jajaira Gonzalez falls to Brazil after a 5-0 loss.”
“Jajaira Gonzalez didn’t get the decision today but she left it all in the ring and we’re proud of everything she has accomplished.”
Unlucky to Gonzalez and the team but it has been interesting so far. Good learning fights.
They are back in action shortly today via these 2:
“Make sure to set your alarm clocks as Roscoe Hill is returning to the ring at 5:00 a.m. ET! Alyssa Mendoza is set to make her Olympic debut at 11:38 a.m. ET!”
As the days go on it will get more interesting with the medal fights ahead.
