Robert Garcia trained the former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua at one time so this counts for a lot.
Joshua has moved to Ben Davison now.
Speaking to Boxing King Media Robert Garcia said:
“Anthony Joshua was always a great student. Always wants to do good. He was going through a moment where he had lost his last fight and then going in the rematch against the same guy so his mind wasn’t there. There was a lot of things going on in camp that obviously is not for me to reveal. If Anthony wants to reveal it one day, then he can say it. There was a lot of things going on through camp. But now, I think he’s unstoppable right now. I don’t know if him fighting Usyk will make a big difference but I think it could. Especially after all the wins he’s had. All the activity he’s had. His confidence has become maybe better then what it was in his career. I think he’s unstoppable right now. I think right now he’s in the right moment.”
Joshua takes on Daniel Dubois next up September 21st at Wembley Stadium in front of 100,000 expected fans.
In another super event.
After that, if he were to beat Dubois, a fight against the winner of Usyk and Fury on December 21st is surely what is what everyone wants.
Unification of it all.
