Claressa Shields is the latest big name in women’s boxing to shut down when transgender boxers fight women.
Previously two XY Chromosomes boxers were not allowed compete against women boxers but the IOC removed the last amateur boxing organization from overseeing this Olympics, done so in 2023.
This year they then allowed the two XY Chromosomes boxers to compete against women.
However, on a separate transgender boxing note, Caressa Shields does not think this should happen in general:
Shields’ comments carry weight as the biggest women’s sports star in America now.
Not just the biggest female boxing star but now easily the biggest women’s sports star across America and much of the world.
She’s also due a movie on her life soon per:
She went from super-welterweight world champion to women’s heavyweight champion.
Think about that as an achivement.
There is nothing even close to it in sports history.
Muhammad Ali never came close to that.
It will never be done again.
She is rightly getting covered throughout the world and blowing up wildly huge at the moment in countries everywhere.
She is also the only double Olympic gold medallist in women’s Olympic history.
