3 Filipino Boxers Going For Medals In 2024 Olympics

The Philippines has impressed in the boxing in the 2024 Olympics so far and still has three fighters remaining.

Punching above its weight, in many ways once again.

That’s more boxers remaining then even America has which only has 2 remaining fighters in the tournament.

Here are the three Filipinos remaining competing and going for medals next up:

Men’s 57kg: Quarterfinal

PHI Carlo Paalam vs AUS Charlie Senior

Women’s 50kg: Quarterfinal

FRA Wassila Lkhadiri vs PHI Aira Villegas

Women’s 57kg: Quarterfinal

PHI Nesthy Petecio vs CHN XU Zichun

Impressive displays to say the least this year from the Philippines.

Beating home nation fighters, displaying boxing ability as good as the pros and much more so far from the Filipinos.

Surely at least one medal to come from them.
