Carlo Paalam represented his country with distinction in this Olympics but most people are fuming today.
Paalam lost out 3-2 against Australia but most people believe the judging was a rip off.
Speaking on X the boxing world and those watching Paalam fumed today:

This Olympics’ judging stank and is corrupt to the core, like Mick Conlan said, amateur boxing stinks and is corrupt to the core.
Bring back the IBA in control of the Olympic boxing again.
Surely the IBA will find new sponsors and so forth and can also look outside of Switzerland as a country too for the organization moving forward.
Easy for them to relocate away from Switzerland and get new better sponsors like Adidas in Germany or someone, they’d love to sponsor boxing and are a more credible organization and country too after this monstrosity of an Olympics.
The judging and scoring has been horrific and any professional boxing judge will tell you the same.
Switzerland stinks where the IOC are also located and is also home to a small number of very untrustworthy organizations.
