Edgar Berlanga and Saul “Canelo” Alvarez met today for the first time ahead of their big fight in September.
Berlanga was quick to play down David Benavidez still not getting his long deserved shot at Alvarez.
He then tried to get in Canelo’s head here which was met with some laughs from the Mexican boxing star:
Alvarez is a veteran at this point. That’s just not going to work.

Berlanga of Puerto Rico brings the rivalry of Puerto Rico vs Mexico into this big time and can really punch too.
He will try to take Alvarez’ head off as quick as possible.
Berlanga is 22-0-17 KO as well too so the 27-year-old does not know how to lose.
A very dangerous thing in top flight boxing.
