Canelo Alvarez is unflappable this week amid the usual media storm that surrounds him during fight announcements.
He takes on Edgar Berlanga next up in September but after that who knows.
Speaking to Sway’s Universe podcast he said the:
“Crawford fight is easy money.”
And that he would want to be paid for it to the tune of:
“$150 million.”
Not bad for a day’s work.
He went on to say it is Crawford who really wants the fight and he’s only interested if big money for him telling ESPN Mexico (English translation):
“I’m not the one who wants the fight, if they want to pay what I deserve, we’re there,”
The fight seems very unlikely however for many reasons.
Berlanga is next up and his focus at this point for the time being.
